A scaleable framework for more informative content
Due to legacy marketing initiatives, this broadline distributor's website copy was SEO-focused and missing the critical information that customers needed to find and purchase the right product. An org-wide strategy shift to a more curated high-touch model called for revisions to the entire merchandised assortment, plus new structured workflows and content strategy.
In order to meet ambitious publishing goals and information standards, the copy team adopted a new style guide and operating model. I designed the research plan and publishing process, then led the team in its implementation and continuous improvement. The updated digital experience resulted in greater information accuracy, fewer support calls, and incremental revenue gains across categories.
